According to a new survey from ESG, 79% of organizations report having experienced a ransomware attack within the last year. There’s no question why the threat of ransomware is top-of-mind for many organizations; however, few feel totally prepared for an attack today. Without any industry blueprints for ransomware protection, organizations are building their own strategies and processes to respond.

But with ransomware protection included in many different security and data protection solutions, it's easy to get confused about the scope of what should be included, who is responsible for implementation, and who to involve in the conversation. This research helps connect the dots between those organizations that feel most prepared and the specific strategies and plans used to get there, with an eye on defining best practices.
