Forrester hat 2020 vier Dell PCaaS-Kunden (PC as a Service) und 2018 sechs Kunden analysiert. Diese Analysen wurden durch vier Gespräche mit Unternehmen (2020) ergänzt, die den Gerätelebenszyklus anderweitig managen. Zusätzlich wurde eine Umfrage unter 101 IT-Entscheidungsträgern durchgeführt.

Dabei wurde herausgefunden, dass Unternehmen mit Dell PCaaS ihre IT-Produktivität durch vermiedene Gerätelebenszyklusaufgaben steigern und gleichzeitig die Hardwarekosten für Geräte reduzieren können. Darüber hinaus bieten PCaaS-Kunden ihrer IT-Abteilung Flexibilität bei Einstellungen, Budgets und Projekten, während gleichzeitig die Mitarbeitererfahrung modernisiert wird.
